Prior to serving as principal of MediaEnable,
LLC, Nizar Allibhoy was CEO of ClickStar, Inc., a joint venture between
actor Morgan Freeman’s Revelations Entertainment and Intel Corp. created
to provide an online venue for independent film producers. From
2001-2004, Nizar was a vice president for Sony Pictures Digital, Inc.,
where his duties included interactive television, content distribution
services and the development of the company’s Digital Service Platform
and Digital Home Entertainment product for the online distribution of
entertainment, media and feature films. In 1999, Nizar founded and
served as CEO of Accelerate TV, an interactive television infrastructure
services provider, that was acquired by RespondTV. Nizar entered the
cable industry in 1993 as project manager for various interactive
initiatives with Time Warner Cable, served as a consultant on Web and
television interactive projects from 1996-98 and was director, strategic
projects and technology with Intertainer from 1998-99. Named on five
patents related to interactive content delivery, Nizar holds a B.S in
Computer Science from California State University at Northridge.

Rafat Ali is Founder, Editor and Publisher
of paidContent.org, the award-winning digital media business news and
analysis site. He is also editor of MocoNews.net, a news site devoted to
mobile content. Both sites form part of ContentNext, an independent
media and information company covering the business of digital media.
Previously, Ali was the managing editor of the Silicon Alley Reporter,
where he wrote and edited daily news and feature stories on online
media, technology and high-tech finance that were sent out as part of a
daily e-mail newsletter to 50,000 subscribers. He was also a section
editor for Venture Reporter magazine, a bimonthly publication on venture
capital business, and wrote features on the online media/entertainment
industry and allied technologies, analyzed startups and interviewed
venture capitalists. In addition, he worked as a digital media reporter
at Inside.com. Ali earned his bachelor's degree in computer engineering
in India and a master's degree in journalism at Indiana University,
where he was a Knight Foundation Fellow.

Ms. Brumfield is widely recognized as an
expert on the communications industry, with a particular focus on the
cutting-edge developments driving the future of voice, video and data
services. She is a veteran analyst of the print and electronic media,
having served as Senior Analyst at Paul Kagan Associates, Inc. and as
Vice President of Research and Policy Analysis at the National Cable and
Telecommunications Association. Ms. Brumfield began her career as
Director of Research at the Media Institute, a nonprofit organization in
Washington, DC. She has launched several high-profile publications in
the media and technology businesses, including the first daily
publication devoted to the broadband businesses. Ms. Brumfield also
writes a blog, IP&Democracy (www.ipdemocracy.com).

Bram Cohen is the Chief
Executive Officer and co-founder of BitTorrent, Inc. and the creator of
the BitTorrent peer-to-peer (P2P) file distribution protocol. Bram is
also the co-founder of CodeCon and the co-author of Codeville. Prior to
the creation of BitTorrent, Bram worked at MojoNation. MojoNation
allowed people to break up confidential files into encrypted chunks and
distribute those pieces to other computers running MojoNation's
software. This concept served as the inspiration for Bram's development
of BitTorrent. Before MojoNation, Bram was a quintessential dot-commer,
working for several Internet companies through the mid-to-late 90s. Bram
grew up in New York City, graduated from Stuyvsant High School and
attended the University of Buffalo. |

Tom Foremski, Founder, Silicon Valley

Tom Foremski, a former US technology
reporter for the Financial Times, began independently publishing the
technology watchdog Silicon Valley Watcher.com in June 2004, which was
subsequently named one of the most important blogs in the US by Bacons.
Tom originally arrived in Silicon Valley in 1984 from London, and
founded West Coast News, the first independent news agency focused on
Silicon Valley. He is currently developing Silicon Valley Watcher into a
major online business news magazine. And he also speaks and advises on
best practices in blogging.

Josh joined Akimbo from
Sprout Group, where he was the firm’s first entrepreneur-in-residence,
working to develop business ideas for new high-tech companies. Prior to
Sprout Group, Josh served as president and chief executive officer of
mySimon, Inc., the largest comparison-shopping service on the Internet.
He oversaw the growth of mySimon into a major consumer e-commerce site,
culminating in the sale of the company to CNET Networks. He then stayed
on as president of CNET’s consumer division. Before mySimon and CNET,
Josh held management roles at companies like USWeb, Softbank Content
Services, Apple Computer, and Phoenix Technologies. Josh received an MBA
from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s of science degree with
honors in Computer Science from Tufts University. |

Erick Hachenburg is CEO of Metacafe, leading
the company’s overall strategy, overseeing day-to-day operations and
expanding Metacafe’s position as the leading online destination for
engaging short video. Prior to joining Metacafe, Hachenburg was
Electronic Art’s senior vice president of global online publishing and
managing director of EA China. In this role, he developed and led EA’s
key strategic initiatives, including the company’s entry into the
digital distribution of retail games, as well as the rapid expansion of
EA's Pogo casual games platform and business. He also established EA’s
online production, operations and publishing capabilities in Asia.
Hachenburg joined EA following the company’s 2001 acquisition of
Pogo.com, the industry leader in the casual games market that Hachenburg
founded and built to nearly 1.5 million subscribers. Hachenburg began
his career as an intellectual property attorney at Fenwick & West. He
holds a JD from Harvard Law School and a BS in Electrical Engineering
from University of Illinois. |

Sarah Harden is the Senior Vice President of
Business Development – Cable for Fox Networks Group and is responsible

business opportunities, and joint venture negotiations. Harden joined
Fox from Ascent Media (a Liberty Media Company), a leading creative
services and media operations provider, where she spent five years, most
recently as VP, Strategic Development, identifying and driving various
growth initiatives for Ascent’s Network Services division. Prior to that
she was VP, Business Development at Linkscape software and a Senior
Associate with The Boston Consulting Group. |

As the Chief Operating Officer, Dina Kaplan
facilitates media partnerships, distribution deals, public relations,
marketing, site and channel sponsorships and investor relations for
blip.tv. Before blip.tv , Dina was a news reporter for local NBC
affiliates and independent television stations. Dina won an Emmy for
Spot News Reporting. Previously, Dina spent four years at MTV News
producing stories and coordinating MTV's coverage of the 1996 U.S.
Presidential election, helping to register more than 50,000 college
students around the country. Dina graduated from Wesleyan University
with a degree in Economics, Government, Philosophy and History.

Kluth has been writing for The Economist since 1997 and is currently
technology correspondent, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. From 2000
to 2003, he was based in Hong Kong, covering business and finance
throughout China and South-East Asia. From 1997 to 2000, he was based in
the head office in London as a global finance correspondent. Mr Kluth is
also a teaching fellow at the Graduate School of Journalism at UC
Berkeley, and has been a regular commentator on NPR’s Marketplace. He is

Maitra also held a series of editorial and management positions at NBC,

provider of software for corporate webcasting. Prior to SoftCom and IVT,
Chris worked at Bellcore on early Internet product development projects
including commercializing search engines and video conferencing. Before
graduating from Brown University, O’Brien was an early employee of
Clearview Software, which was later sold to Apple. He began his
software career as a high school senior, working full-time as a software
developer at Bell Laboratories and Bell Communications Research. He is
also a U.S. patent holder, with Motionbox’s Andrew Wason, for a
cross-platform media synchronization abstraction layer.

Mark Pascarella is
President and CEO of Gotuit Media Corp. As one of Gotuit’s founding
investors, Mark has been a member of the company’s Board of Directors
since inception and joined Gotuit full-time in 2001. Before joining
Gotuit Media, Pascarella teamed up with Sidney Topol, the former
Chairman and CEO of Scientific-Atlanta (SFA), to found The Topol Group,
an early-stage investment firm. In addition to Gotuit, The Topol Group's
investments include broadband router manufacturer RiverDelta Networks
(Motorola), cable services provider Navic Networks, VoIP switch maker
Cedar Point Communications, and the multimedia semiconductor company
Lumic, where Pascarella served on the Board of Directors. From 1992 to
1997, Pascarella worked in Business Development at Procter & Gamble. He
holds a BS in Management from Bucknell University and an MBA from
Harvard Business School.

founded a computer consulting group in his hometown of Pendleton, OR.

Sanchez was co-founder and COO of MediaLiquid. Matt received a B.S. in
Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Yale University in

Vice President and General Manager of the Cisco Media Solutions Group,
is responsible for developing and marketing infrastructure products that

consumers. In this role, he reports directly to Cisco’s Chairman and
CEO John Chambers. Scheinman has been with Cisco since 1992 and
previously led Corporate Development, overseeing the merger and
acquisition, venture investment, strategic alliance, and technology
incubation functions within Cisco. Prior to assuming the role of Senior
Vice President of Corporate Development in 2001, Scheinman was the
general counsel at Cisco. He holds a doctor of jurisprudence degree from
Duke University Law School and a political science degree from Brandeis

Dmitry founded Veoh

Prior to founding Veoh, Dmitry founded Akonix Systems and built the
company into a leader in security and management for Instant Messaging
and Peer-to-Peer traffic in the enterprise. Akonix deployed over
1,000,000 enterprise seats in leading companies including MTV, Fox News,
20th Century Fox, Viacom, and Disney. Prior to Akonix, Dmitry led the
technology group at CollegeClub.com, a 4 million member online social
network. Prior to that, Dmitry led the Web technologies group at Fujitsu

media agents, identifies and evaluates opportunities for the agency's
actors, writers, directors, producers, and recording artists, in
addition to numerous business-to-business and consumer-oriented
technology and corporate clients. Prior to joining UTA in 2001,
Weinstein practiced corporate law in Los Angeles and Irvine, California.
He is a graduate of the University of Southern California where he

Jim Wuthrich was named
Senior Vice President, Electronic Sell-Through, Warner Bros. Digital
Distribution in April 2006. In this post, he is a senior member of the
team responsible for managing Warner Bros. Entertainment’s move into the
digital distribution arena and fully exploiting all available
technologies while simultaneously protecting and maximizing the value of
the content, be it film, television or developed-for-digital content.
Prior to his current post, Wuthrich served as vice president, marketing,
theatrical new releases, Warner Home Video. He has also served as WHV’s
vice president, worldwide interactive marketing and director, DVD and
Internet marketing. Before joining WHV in 1998, he spent five years at
Dataware, a company that published content to CD-ROM and the Internet.
He’s also held posts at Sentrol and Hallmark Cards. |
